Job Description
Reporting to the CORE (Company Owned Regions) Operations Manager, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating communications and provide an extra level of support for CORE Managing Directors (“MD”) and field staff (“CSC”) within BNI CORE regions. The purpose of this role is to ensure data and communication flow in a timely and consistent manner among key teams, such as MDs, CSCs, and team members within headquarters. The right candidate will have increasing responsibilities as they demonstrate their capabilities. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and be customer centric.
This Role Entails the Following
- Research and follow up on communications forwarded through Zendesk (ticketing system) in a timely manner
- Collections (varying payment methods)
- Generate reports as needed
- Data and database management to ensure company compliance
- Update communication channels with regional engagement information
- Update and distribute performance data spreadsheets
- Participate in weekly team and status calls
- Communicate and collaborate with Member Success Center (member call center) as needed
- Attend trainings and webinars offered by BNI Support and GST
- Provide consistent support that is in line with the policies of Global and U.S. Support Teams.
Required Skills
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Detail-oriented and professional.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of office equipment.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Flexible and adaptable in various situations and when interacting with many different personalities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks including delegation of tasks when appropriate.
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire, familiarity with the roles and function of the assigned department, and any specifically applicable laws or guidelines.
Education
- Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, paid position based out of BNI’s Global Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. We will not accept remote applicants or requests for relocation.
