Position Summary

 

The Member Success Center role focuses on supporting new and existing BNI Members through a range of services aimed at ensuring a smooth membership experience. This includes assisting new Members with onboarding, providing training support, offering ongoing customer support, and managing event coordination. The position also involves retention efforts, including follow-up with former Members and gathering feedback to enhance service quality. Additionally, the role encompasses managing inventory and resources for BNI Regions & Chapters, ensuring timely delivery and payment processing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to handle a variety of tasks independently.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • New Member Success: Support new Members during their first year at BNI by welcoming them with system accounts and providing them with the New Member Welcome Kit (including: Box, Handbook, Member Pin, Name Tag, Book, and Passport to Success).
  • Training Support: Assist new Members in understanding BNI’s available training programs and resources, the value of continued training, and facilitate their registration for essential training sessions.
  • Customer Support: Serve as the point of contact for BNI Members and Visitors, providing guidance, assistance, and resolving membership-related issues, including Member accounts. Address any technical or operational issues to ensure uninterrupted Chapter activities.
  • Retention and Feedback Collection: Work towards retaining Members who have left. Gather feedback from former Members to improve operations, enhance service quality, and increase Member satisfaction.
  • Event Support: Assist in organizing BNI events, workshops, and networking meetings, including event promotion and registration assistance.
  • Visitor Follow-up: Follow up with Visitors who request support to ensure they receive proper assistance through BNI Basic or Expression of Interest forms.
  • Resource Commitment: Manage the supply chain from vendors and contractors to manufacturers, including packaging, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics for Regions & Chapters, while ensuring timely payment processing.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proficiency in English communication and professional tasks.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • High sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to complete ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Manager.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience in customer service and inventory management is preferred.
  • Experience working in related positions such as customer service and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative.

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
