Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee the accounting operations, financial reporting and compliance efforts of BNI’s Chinese subsidiary. The Chief Accountant will report directly to BNI’s Global Controller and will be a key leader in the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with both Chinese and United States Accounting Standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all financial reports to local regulatory authorities, including tax filings and other statutory reports.
• Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard the Company’s financial assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Stay current on changes in tax regulations and accounting standards in China, making necessary adjustments to accounting practices and policies as needed.
• Support senior management in making data-driven decisions by providing accurate and timely financial reports and analyses.
• Proactively manage and optimize the Company’s cash flow.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bilingual – Fluent in English and local language.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
• Prior experience working in a multi-national company is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and Chinese accounting standards (CAS).
• Advanced skills in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of integrity and strong ethical standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
