Founded by Dr. Ivan Misner in 1985, BNI is now the world’s largest networking organization with 40 years of continuous growth. 

A BNI Membership provides the environment, training and support to build trusted relationships. Members across the globe attend weekly Chapter meetings that follow a structured agenda proven to maximize referrals.   

With just one person from each profession in each Chapter, competition between Members is eliminated. Instead, Members take the time to learn about each other’s businesses and build trust, exchanging quality referrals when opportunities arise.

    BNI requires that BNI Chapters review and select candidates for BNI Membership without discriminating on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, age or disability. BNI will not support actions by a Chapter in violation of this statement.

  • BNI Does Not Get Involved in Politics, Geopolitics, or Religion

    For nearly 40 years, BNI has stood above politics and geopolitics and, while respecting all faith traditions, BNI does not in any way incorporate religion into the organization. BNI will continue this tradition for the next 40 years and well beyond. By doing so, BNI has become an incredibly positive and productive institution – one that serves as an effective bridge between people worldwide, a unifying force in a disrupted world. BNI will continue to protect and strengthen this bridge. BNI requires that Members and Leaders refrain from posts, messages, or communications related to controversial world events. No BNI nor BNI-related systems, nor marks or logos should in any way be incorporated into – nor appear alongside or adjacent to, any messaging related to current political, geopolitical, religious, or territorial tensions.
