Position Summary 

The Manager, Business Development supports post-merger integrations, franchisee onboarding, and BNI Partner engagement to ensure a smooth transition and long-term success. This position will report to the Vice President of Business Development and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute business development plans, focusing on aligning cultures, optimizing workflows, and maximizing operational efficiency. The ability to balance the technical aspects of development with the human and cultural elements is crucial for ensuring a smooth and successful transition. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in supporting business growth through structured onboarding and integration. The ideal candidate is:

Roles and Responsibilities 

Post-Merger Integration & Business Transition Support 

  • Assist in the transition and onboarding of newly acquired businesses and franchisees. 
  • Provide hands-on guidance and resources to ensure a smooth integration process. 
  • Work with internal teams to align systems, processes, and operational expectations. 

New Franchisee Onboarding 

  • Support the structured onboarding of new franchisees. 
  • Deliver training and support on BNI tools, systems, and best practices. 
  • Facilitate early-stage engagement to help franchisees gain traction. 

Business Growth & Development – BNI Partners 

  • Strengthen relationships with franchisees and franchisors in the BNI Partner Program to ensure retention and success. 
  • Identify and escalate challenges in Partner engagement. 
  • Track onboarding success metrics and provide feedback for continuous improvement. 

Qualifications 

Required: 

Experience & Education: 

  • 5+ years of related experience with increasing responsibilities as track record 
  • Experience with MS Project or similar system. 
  • Previous experience with organizational change management 
  • Exceptional analytical, project management, and executive skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of motivating and achieving consensus at all levels 
  • Experience as project manager 
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization to drive projects forward. 
  • Availability for travel domestically and internationally. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience in developing internal systems. 
  • Experience in BNI or similar networking organizations. 
  • Experience in sales. 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions 

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
