Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in our Castlebar, Ireland office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, processing, and analyzing data to help drive business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a good understanding of data management tools, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
  • Use statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Create data reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain and update databases and data systems.
  • Clean and organize data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business operations.
  • Present data findings and insights in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of machine learning or predictive analytics is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with data wrangling and cleaning techniques.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence concepts.
