| Habira Chapter Visitors Day |
Recently in Jerusalem, BNI Habira Chapter had a special visitors day with over 100 people participating--which was a record for Jerusalem. A core chapter, BNI Rom HaSharon, had 35 first-time visitors at their event, out of which eight submitted applications on the spot.
The leading chapter in Tel Aviv, BNI Metropolin (a 44-member chapter) instigated a new initiative for members who are launching new products or services. Twice during each Leadership Team term they have a special morning where the Ten-Minute spot is given to these members who are launching new products or services, therefore giving those BNI members a little bit more time and exposure.
Co-National Director Yarden Noy and the Executive Team are working hard to set up an event for International Networking Day on February 6, 2007. The planned event will get exposure in the media through a BNI member's PR firm.
2007 will be a turning point for BNI Israel as we are updating all the material and have just finished translating Givers Gain into Hebrew. The book will be presented during MSP Training, starting in 2007.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the entire Executive Team and all our members in Israel who made 2006 a successful year. I am looking forward to the upcoming year and especially my visit during International Network Week.
