BNI's Founder, Ivan Misner, along with his partners in the Referral Institute, Dawn Lyons and Mike Macedonio, have come up with a new and improved definition of "networking." Twenty years ago, Ivan wrote The World’s Best Known Marketing Secret and in it he gave his definition of the word “networking.” Times have changed since then, however, and Dawn came to Ivan with two suggestions that give “networking” a new, updated meaning.
