The BNI Foundation now has an officially sanctioned branch in the UK!  BNI Executive Director Rob Copeland is the administrator of the fund. UK Co-National Director Charlie Lawson and UK Executive Director Laura Hurren are members of the BNI Foundation UK Fund Board of Directors along with BNI Foundation Co-Founder and Administrator Beth Misner.

The BNI Foundation UK Fund was launched at the UK National Conference in Glasgow, Scotland. Beth Misner attended the conference and was able to make two donations to the UK charities on behalf of the BNI Foundation UK Fund.

Action Ireland received a donation of $21,000 USD for a school project, which will benefit the schools in Lesotho, South Africa. BNI member Mary Eastland accepted this award on behalf of Action Ireland. Touch Trust received a donation of $11,450 USD as a directed donation on behalf of Guy Griffiths, who sailed with a team across the Atlantic Ocean to raise funds for the charity.
