At an event on January 17th hosted by BNI Hawaii to promote the new book Business Networking and Sex, nearly 300 people--BNI members and non-members alike--were in attendance.

During the event, which was held at the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, over 80 copies of Business Networking and Sex were sold, as were several copies of other titles in the family of books by Dr. Misner and various co-authors from the BNI and Referral Institute organizations.

Also, Junior Achievement Hawaii was presented with a $1000 Givers Gain Grant by the BNI-Misner Charitable Foundation and the Foundation, along with BNI Hawaii, presented a $500 grant for Brain Gym Program school to BNI member Cindy Ogata whose daughter attends the school.

Says BNI Hawaii Executive Director Joann Seery, "Participants are still talking about the event. They enjoyed the information as well as the topic and thought Dr. Misner's presentation was one of the best they have seen in Hawaii!  We're all looking forward to his return."
